County Fairs
4-H Fair activities are scheduled today for Jennings, Pulaski, St. Joseph and Shelby Counties in Indiana.

Lebanon Farmers Market
The Lebanon, Indiana Farmers Market features a montage of agriculturally based products. (That’s food!} The Lebanon Farmers Market is located on the Courthouse Square at the corner of Main and Meridian Streets. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12 :00 p.m.

Whitewater Valley RR July 4th Train
Take a trip back in time. Be in the middle of the action as a Union Army attachment protects the US Government Payroll from Confederate soldiers simply known as Morgan's Raiders. Enjoy a relaxing train ride though the scenic Whitewater Valley, on your way to the historic town of Metamora. Enjoy a two-hour layover before your return trip to Connersville, Indiana. Train departs Connersville at 12:01 PM. The round trip fares for this train are $20 for adult and $12 for children, one way fares are $15 for adults and $8 for children. Independence Day Celebration
The town of New Richmond, Indiana will host its annual Independence Day Celebration with a variety of activities taking place throughout the day. There will be a huge all day Flea Market. The Masons will be serving breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Hickory Hoosiers Car Show will feature classic cars, tractors and motorcycles. Registration is at 8:00 am and the awards will be presented at 4:00 p.m. The Midwest Talent Search will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., finals at 7:00 p.m. 1st Place prize $500, 2nd Place $200, 3rd Place $100. For more information, call 765-376-4181. A Raffle Drawing will be held, with 1st prize $300, and 2nd prize $200. Also, a Bingo Corn Hole Tournament will take place, with a $200 prize and trophies. The Armed Forces Medley will do an Aerial Fly Over to salute our Armed Forces at 6:00 p.m. A huge Fireworks Display set to music by Forman Blasters Pyrotechnics will begin at dusk. This is an alcohol-free event! Cash donations, large or small, are needed in order to make this event possible. The proceeds go toward future 4th of July Celebrations. Independence Day Parade
The 16th Annual Delphi Independence Day Parade will be held today at 10:00 a.m. Also, a Memorial Service will be held on the Courthouse Square at 10:00 a.m., while the parade is beginning at the Globe-Valve Parking Lot. Registration begins at the Globe-Valve Parking Lot at 7:30 a.m. on parade day. All participants are requested to register by 9:30 a.m. All are encouraged to enter floats, groups, businesses, clubs or individuals. Judging will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot.
