Battle brewing over campaign signs in 5th District

CARMEL, Ind.

Tuesday is primary day in Indiana, but a battle's brewing over political signs in Indiana's 5th District race.

Fox 59 received video of what's believed to be a Susan Brooks supporter removing her opponent David McIntosh's signs. It happened Sunday at a roundabout in Carmel on 126th and Towne Road.

The two are running for the 5th District GOP nomination.

Brooks' campaign released a statement saying "given that dozens of our own legally-placed yard signs have been taken from private residences, we are disappointed by the removal of McIntosh's illegal yard signs in and around Carmel round-abouts by someone other than appropriate. We instructed our own campaign volunteers to comply with all local zoning ordinances about yard sign placement."
