Living together before tying the knot? Studies used to suggest it was a factor in marriages ending in divorce. But a new government study shows that's not the case anymore.

According to researchers 60-percent of couples live together before walking down the aisle. Studies show living together before marriage is so common it's no longer having a negative effect on marital stability.

But researchers do say that only applies to those who are engaged and living together.
