Indianapolis Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Eugene White is now a finalist for a job in another school district.

White is being considered for the superintendent position at the Mobile County Public School system in Alabama.  He was born and raised in southeast Alabama and attended Alabama A&M University.

A Mobile County Schools spokesperson told Fox59 White is one of three finalists for the job. 

The others are Dr. Peggy Connell, from the Muscogee County School District in Georgia, and A. Dale Robbins, who is from the Gwinett County Public School system, which is also in Georgia.

The school board will make its final decision on March 30.
