Fallen Officer David Moore to be honored during National Police Week

The Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary is raising funds to make sure David's parents can be there for the event. It will be part of National Police Week.

Fallen IMPD Officer David Moore will be honored in Washington D.C. later this year.

The Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary is raising funds to make sure David's parents can be there for the event. It will be part of National Police Week.

Right now, Gallagher's at Stop 11 and Emerson Avenue is selling t-shirts and bracelets to raise money for the family.  There are three different shirt designs that say "Our Warrior Wore Pink." The wristbands are green and say "David S. Moore On To New Adventures." Shirts range from $10-14 and the wrist bands are $3.

"David was just a very important person to all of us and ya know, he's missed by many and I think it's very important that we take care of his family just as he would if he were here, " said Allison Clark, Gallagher’s Spokesperson. 

The FOP will also host aSt. Patrick's Dayparty in David’s honor next month.

National Police Week will be held sometime in May.
