Fishers, Ind.

Three Fishers juveniles were arrested Saturday on home invasion and robbery charges.

The Fishers Police Department said a caller reported an armed suspected entered the home on 116th Street and Holland Drive and demanded money.

When police arrived, a 24-year-old woman told officers she and her younger brother were home and heard someone knocking on the front door.  The woman said she recognized the person as one of her brother’s friend.  Police said the woman let him in and was then approached by another person wearing a mask.

Police said the masked suspect entered the home through the back door and was carrying a black handgun.  The victim said the suspect demanded money.  When she refused, police said the woman and the two other occupants were forced into a bedroom on the second floor.

Police said a 15-year-old male, who was located in the home, said he was visiting and not involved in the robbery.  Officers also found a 14-year-old male in the neighborhood who they said matched the description of the armed suspect.  Police said a BB gun was located and is believed to be the weapon in the crime.

The two teenagers were arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.  They were charged with robbery and criminal confinement.  The third teenager was arrested and charged with robbery for his role in planning the crime.
