The Indiana Blood Center announced there is an urgent need for blood donations after overnight medical emergencies in the metro area.
The center issued an urgent call for donations after they said there were multiple traumas at three hospitals.
All blood types are needed, but the center said O-positive blood is particularly crucial at this time.
Volunteers can donate blood on Friday until 4 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at any of the following locations:
