Some kids who are beating the odds got a big surprise Thursday when the Lucas Oil Crusader monster truck stopped by Riley Children's Hospital at IU Health.
The Crusader is in town for the monster jam event being held this weekend. Members of the Lucas Oil team along with top fuel pro Morgan Lucas visited patients and their families.
Braedon Upchurch, who is completely healthy after being born at only 28-weeks, was lucky enough to see the truck up close.

"Before you guys came, I got to look at the truck a little, and I got to see the engine, which was huge," said Upchurch.
He said he is looking forward to seeing Grave Digger at the event this weekend.
He'll be able to watch monster jam in one of the 10 suites that Lucas Oil donated to patients.
