Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man accused of shooting another man in front of a 3-year-old child.

Police said the suspect shot Charles Cross on August 24, 2011 at approximately 10:58 p.m.  Police said Cross was meeting the man in the 3200 block of North Central Avenue.

The suspect approached Cross’ vehicle and shot him without saying a word, said police.  A 3-year-old child was sitting behind Cross at the time of the shooting.  A third person was sitting in the passenger seat.
