A string of Cardinal Fitness gyms closed without notice back in November. Now, the owners at one location may have put their former clients at risk for identity theft.
The Cardinal Fitness off of Southport Road was among a string of gyms that closed. A dumpster outside of the facility is filled with dozens of receipts. Many of those receipts have people’s full credit card numbers on them.
Former member Paul Gaertner said the documents should have been shredded to protect customers’ personal information.
We tried to contact Cardinal Fitness but could not reach the company for comment.
