St. Francis Health has served Beech Grove and Indianapolis' south side for nearly 100 years. Now, it’s moving its patients, staff and operations to their Indianapolis facility.

The new location is just seven miles away from their current location. More than 70 patients moved Monday.

"Every building is just brick and mortar. We're taking our people along with us, and our people are what make St. Francis special," said Sister Marlene Shapley, Vice President of Mission Services.

The facility will continue to treat walk-in patients. The emergency room will close at 7 a.m. Friday.

St. Francis is looking for someone who might be interested in the building.
