Two men have been arrested Friday in connection with a string of robberies this week.

Jeffrey Tullis, 21, and Stanley Jackson, 20, were arrested on charges of armed robbery and carrying a handgun without a license.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to three armed robberies on Wednesday.  Police said all the robberies were approximately 20 minutes apart from each other.

On Thursday, police responded to another armed robbery at 2 a.m. in the 3500 block of N. Keystone Avenue.  During this robbery, police said two victims were held at gunpoint by two males.

Around 7:45 a.m., detectives received a tip from a caller who stated she saw a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road near the 2400 block of N. Alabama Street.

When police arrived, they confirmed the vehicle matched the description of the suspects’ vehicle from earlier robberies.  Officers then approached the vehicle and identified the two men inside as the suspects from the robberies.  Police recovered two handguns and items stolen from the victims.

Police said Tullis was also arrested for four outstanding warrants, and he is being held on a $20,000 bond.  Jackson is being held on a $40,000 bond.
