Officers investigate after man found deceased in Sullivan Co. forest

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources said the officers responded to a report of a missing person, who was believed to be in the forest near Bass Lake in Sullivan County.

Indiana conservation officers are investigating the death of a man who was found in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest in Dugger, Ind. Thursday.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources said the officers responded to a report of a missing person, who was believed to be in the forest near Bass Lake in Sullivan County.

Officers said the man’s vehicle was located early Thursday morning.  After searching the area, officers found his body at approximately 9:20 a.m. 

The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
