Texas Instruments is encouraging students to pursue careers in Math and Science.
The technology company donated $20,000 to Martin University Thursday.
The money will be used for the university's Science Engineering Mathematics and Aerospace Academy. The program partners with NASA to provide after school Math and Science education for students.

“To learn more about it, get interested in the field, and see what they, and then maybe they'll know what they want to do when they grow up," said Dikshant Singh, Eastwood Middle School.
The program at Martin University is part of a nationwide effort to increase participation in the Math and Science fields.
