Truck collides into tanker on southwest side

The accident happened at the intersection of Harding and Raymond streets. The streets are closed due to the crash.

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a pickup truck under a tanker on the southwest side. 

The accident happened at the intersection of Harding and Raymond streets at approximately 7 a.m.  The streets are closed due to the crash.

Police said the tanker pulled out of a parking lot to head north on Harding Street.  The pickup truck was driving southbound on Harding Street, when it struck the tanker. 

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Wishard Hospital.  Police said he was conscious and alert and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the tanker truck was transported to Wishard Hospital for a blood test.
