Fall 2012 TV Previews (Upfronts): Watch the latest trailers here.
Every May, the television networks unveil their fall schedules to advertisers in New York City and screen previews of their new series. Not everything here will premiere in the fall. Some shows will air mid-season, by which point a few of these hopefuls may already have been canceled.

Kyle Bornheimer stars in this comedy about a screw-up son attempting to impress his dad (J.K. Simmons) by taking over the family handyman business (called Mr. Jiffy Fix).

Fridays 8:30 p.m.
Reba McEntire returns to the sitcom world with "Malibu Country," ABC's traditional sitcom starring the country music star as a not-as-famous country music singer who moves her family to Malibu after leaving her cheating husband.
Creator: Kevin Abbott, who wrote for Reba's previous sitcom, "Reba."

"How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)"
Tuesdays 8 p.m.
Sarah Chalke is freshly divorced and moving back in with her parents. Only instead of the daughter being the wild one, it's the other way around.

Connie Britton is the past-her-prime country singer Rayna James looking to reignite her career by teaming with young upstart Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere, on a tour. Of course, the women don't get along. At all.

This supernatural drama features the return of John Locke himself, Terry O'Quinn, to ABC's schedule. This time he plays Gavin Doran, the mysterious owner of the Drake, a New York apartment building with a definite dark side.
Creator: Based on books by Gabriella Pierce and adapted by former "Fringe" writer David Wilcox.

Like "Lost," this drama features characters attempting to remake civilization on an island paradise — only this time the characters are marooned survivors from a crippled submarine.

Sherlock Holmes gets a modern-day updating in "Elementary," starring Johnny Lee Miller as the world's greatest detective and Lucy Liu as his Dr. Watson. In this case, Watson is a sober companion for Holmes, who's attempting to clean himself up.

Janet Montgomery plays a street-smart Jersey girl who shows that residents of the Garden State know more than GTL (gym, tan, laundry). Yes, this one know the law, and works her way up through the ranks at a New York law firm.

This series takes a look back at Las Vegas' boom days in the 1960s, when real-life Sheriff Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid) was brought in to clean up the town. And his nemesis? A ruthless Chicago gangster, played by Michael Chiklis.

This series charts the new waters of two architect business partners when one of them gets engaged, while the other one dates a male nurse he swears is a promotion away from being a doctor.

This series recounts the adventures of a billionaire playboy, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who becomes the secret vigilante Arrow at night.And yes, he sounds quite a bit like Batman.

The new version stars Kristin Kreuk as a police detective who comes in contact with an enigmatic doctor, played by Jay Ryan, who has a Hulk-like tendency to turn into a beast when he's enraged.

Mamie Gummer, daughter of Meryl Streep, stars as Owens, a first-year medical intern. But just like high school, there's her med school crush, played by Justin Hartley, as well as her high school nemesis, played by Aja Naomi King.

Mindy Kaling plays an OB/GYN on the hunt for a man to share her life. She's also dealing with the kooky personalities in her medical practice, including self-absorbed fellow doctor Jeremy Reed (Ed Weeks), whom Mindy keeps ending up with.
