This 5K run/walk travels through the historic Columbian Park Neighborhood and offers a fun, inexpensive way to get your family up and moving! Enjoy a great pancake breakfast sponsored by Bison Financial, and mingle with zoo staff and some of your favorite zoo residents!

All registrations received before July 1 will be discounted to $20 for individuals and $18 per person for families of three or more. If you don't want a T-shirt it will decrease your registration cost by $4 per person. After July 1, all registrants will be charged $25 each.

Pre-registration pickup info:
Save time on race morning! A pre-registration pickup will be held on Friday, July 20th from 4:30pm to 7pm at the zoo entrance. Runners can pick up t-shirts and race bags as well as register for the run.
No t-shirt exchanges will be allowed until post race. T-shirt exchanges will be based on availability.
5K Registration:
Day of race registration is available at the zoo from 6:30am-7:15am on Saturday, July 21st. Cost: $25

Directions:
From 1-65: Take exit 172 (Lafayette/Rossville) and head west on SR 26. The road will narrow and become South Street. Turn left onto Park Avenue. Parking is available along the street on Park Avenue or Wallace Avenue. The Zoo entrance is located in the middle of Columbian Park (no car access).
From downtown Lafayette: Take South Street (SR 26) east, away from the river. Turn right onto Main Street. After passing Tropicanoe Cove Family Aquatic Center and Loeb Stadium on your left, turn left onto Wallace Avenue. Parking is available along the street on Park Avenue or Wallace Avenue. The Zoo entrance is located in the middle of Columbian Park (no car access).

Scoring & Timing:
The race will be electronically bib timed by Tom Landis. Results will be posted at the conclusion of the race and will also be available at zoorunrun.com, columbianparkzoo.com, and timetorun.net. Overall male and female winner and age group awards will be based on chip time.
Course Description:
The race will start and finish in Columbian Park and wind through the historic Columbian Park Zoo Neighborhood for exactly 3.1 miles. Volunteers will be available along the route to provide directional assistance.

Awards:
Special awards will be given to the overall male and female winners. In addition, prizes will be given to the male and female winners in each age category. Age categories are: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and over 60.
Kids' Fun Run:
A 1K Kids' fun run will take place at 9:30am on Columbian Park Zoo grounds. There is no entry fee and prizes will be given to all children who participate.
