Not worth stealing? Low-theft cars

Passenger cars average 1.7 theft claims a year for every 1,000 insured vehicles, according to the Highway Loss Data Institute. The average claim is $6,767, or $11 per car per year, based on insurance claims for 2008-10 vehicles.

The Cadillac Escalade is 6 times as likely a theft target, with 10 times as big a loss. But which cars are least targeted? Statistics say these have a low chance of getting jacked.
