Stuti Mishra, a Brevard County 8th grader and sponsored by the Orlando Sentinel, made it through the semifinals of the 2012 Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday, May 31, 2012. She went on to finish as the runner-up, missing out on the spelling of "schwarmerei."
