Janet Jackson Confirms Marriage

Entertainment Tonight reports that Janet Jackson has been secretly married for months.  Jackson, 46, got engaged to Qatari billionaireWissam Al Mana, 37, back in December. Reports claimed they recently tied the knot in a big wedding, but the couple denied that, while confirming they are already hitched.  "The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private and beautiful ceremony," the couple told ET in a statement on Monday. "Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy." This is the third marriage for Jackson. She was previously married to James DeBarge and Rene Elizondo.
