NEW YORK (WPIX)—
Inception star Joseph Gordon-Levitt may want to stick with riding in white vans like the one in his latest box office smash "Inception."While riding a bicycle during the filming of his new movie, the actor smashed through the back window of a New York City taxi cab.
With his arm bloodied and the rear window completely shattered, a giddy Gordon-Levitt said to his director, "I don't know what happened," then pointed at his wound, "but look at it, this is a gash."
Gordon-Levitt is in NYC filming Premium Rush, a movie about a bike messenger who picks up a package at Columbia University, but while biking away gets targeted by a dirty cop, played by actor Michael Shannon from Revolutionary Road.
Gordon-Levitt wrote on his blog: "My first real wreck today. Busted through the rear window of a cab. Luckily got my elbows up. Coulda been way worse. No, but it was my fault, I was going too fast (sic). He also had his director, Dave Koepp, film the aftermath of the accident, which can be seen here.
